TJ Little

Theatre/acting has always been such a pivotal part of my life. Although being from Texas and raised by a football family, I have always managed to flourish within the arts. My parents love to joke with me that during my baptism whenever the congregation began clapping for me I was immediately struck with the "theatre bug". The simple truth is that I just love to tell stories, and any story is worth telling if you show enough empathy. 

 

I graduated in 2019 from Coastal Carolina University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, but my training extended well beyond the musical theatre world. During one of those semesters, I studied abroad in Arezzo, Italy at Accademia Dell'Arte. The training program focused on commedia dell'arte as well as devised/physical theatre. It is here that I began working on my unnamed one-man show based on my time struggling with Apastic Anemia, a rare blood disorder treated similarly to Leukemia.

I moved to New York in January of 2020 with high dreams of auditioning in the big city. Sadly, those dreams went "dark" for a little while when the world was struck with the COVID-19 pandemic. But it has not driven me to lose hope for my greatest passion: storytelling. I'm now based in Brooklyn with my wife as we both make our way through the audition world. ​
